      About Bruce D. Ketron, Esq.

      In practice for over 30 years, Bruce Ketron is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Estate Law.  His practice of law is entirely devoted to the estate planning areas including trusts, probates, wills and related matters.  Mr. Ketron is distinguished in his ability to protect wealth through estate, income and charitable tax planning.  He focuses on helping clients put their affairs in order, avoiding pitfalls, and recognizing danger signs that are often overlooked.  In all, he strives to give comfort and guidance to clients and those they care about.

      As a trusted legal advisor, his stated goal is to help successful people to live lives of significance.  He believes that only you can decide if you are successful and it is your choice.

      Mr. Ketron earned his BA degree at UC Santa Barbara after completing an AA degree at the College of Marin.  After receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, he completed an LLM from the University of London, London School of Economics.  His continuing education includes annual updates along with long term participation with and certifications from the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, WealthCounsel, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the Bar Association of Napa County and Sonoma County and the Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council.

      He is a contributing author of Giving-Philanthropy for Everyone and Strictly Business-Planning Strategies for Privately Owned Business.  He taught Trust Law at Empire Law School as well as Jurisprudence and other courses including Business Law at Santa Rosa Junior College.  He was an instructor of Estate and Gift Tax in the graduate program at Golden Gate University.

      He has done research projects including Abandonment of Seniors by Adult Children, along with Accountability in Charitable Giving and Civic Participation & Donations.

      Serving in his third term as a Trustee of the Napa Valley Community College, Attorney Bruce Ketron was also previously elected to the Santa Rosa Board of Education.  He has served as Trustee for many private and public entities including serving currently on the Board of Directors of Connolly Ranch Education Center.

      About Cecily Wallis, Paralegal

      Ms. Wallis is a certificated paralegal and has been with Bruce Ketron & Associates since 2004.  She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  After working in the advertising, biotech, and wine industries, Cecily returned to school and completed a Masters in Business Administration in 1997 from Sonoma State University.  With such a diverse background, Cecily possesses a unique ability to handle the challenges that arise in a modern law office with the specific requirements of accounting and computer skills for trust administration reporting, probate accounting, and the sensitivities of handling the affairs of those who have passed away.

      In addition to her effectiveness in legal document drafting, fiduciary accounts and client communications, Cecily is also responsible for all facets of office management.  She enjoys working with people and is never too busy to help when clients call with questions or concerns.

  • About Aura Lenz, Legal Assistant

    Mrs. Lenz graduated from Humboldt State University with a BA, and then obtained her teaching credential after which she completed her MA in English at Sonoma State University. She was awarded her MS from AIMC Berkeley in Oriental Medicine in 2009. She has taught school and brings an English teacher’s refinement to our written work. She also contributes a viewpoint of health concerns to families facing unhealthy situations and loss of abilities and the adjustments appropriate to the necessary transitions of aging.
